TMO Car Rentals’ vehicles may be used for permitted delivery and courier work, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, Walmart Spark, Amazon Flex, Instacart, and medical courier services.
You may be asked to provide proof of an active driver account or other relevant documentation. Drivers are responsible for satisfying the requirements of every platform or service they choose to use.
Certain TMO Car Rentals vehicles may be used for rideshare driving with platforms such as Uber and Lyft, subject to the vehicle’s eligibility and the applicable platform requirements.
You may be asked to provide proof of an active driver account, required inspection, or other qualifying documentation. Each platform independently determines whether a driver and vehicle may operate on its platform. TMO Car Rentals cannot guarantee platform acceptance or activation.
TMO Car Rentals’ vehicles may be used by traveling nurses, healthcare professionals, consultants, contractors, and other professionals during temporary assignments or extended stays.
If relevant to the requested rental, you may be asked to provide information confirming your assignment, anticipated rental period, lodging, or other supporting details.
Our long-term rental options provide dependable transportation throughout the rental period specified in your agreement.
TMO rental vehicles may be used for work, appointments, family responsibilities, errands, and other everyday transportation permitted under the rental agreement.
You do not have to be a gig worker or traveling professional to request a rental. Our long-term rental options are available to eligible renters who need dependable transportation for an extended period.
After a suitable vehicle has been identified and you have signed the rental agreement, you will be required to pay:
The refundable security deposit secures the vehicle after the rental agreement is signed. The first rental payment and any remaining amount due must also be paid electronically and successfully clear before the scheduled pickup appointment.
Payments will not be accepted at the pickup location, and the vehicle and keys cannot be released until all required payments have cleared.
A vehicle is not officially reserved until TMO Car Rentals receives the refundable security deposit and sends you a reservation confirmation.
TMO Car Rentals maintains insurance on its vehicles. However, renters should not assume that this insurance covers their personal liability or financial obligations during a rental.
For your own financial protection if you cause an accident, you may wish to use your existing automobile insurance or obtain an appropriate non-owner policy, subject to coverage verification and acceptance by TMO Car Rentals. Depending on the policy, this may help cover your liability for injuries or damage to others.
Non-owner insurance generally does not cover damage to the vehicle you are renting. If you want protection against responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle, ask your insurer about coverage specifically for that risk.
Before purchasing or relying on a policy, confirm with your insurer that it applies to the rental vehicle, the full rental period, and your intended use, including delivery, courier, or rideshare work, if applicable.
If you would like us to review your insurance, we will request your declarations pages and any additional documentation before finalizing your rental.
Delivery, courier, and rideshare platforms may require proof of qualifying insurance before approving a driver or vehicle. Renters are responsible for meeting each platform’s requirements. Acceptance by TMO Car Rentals does not guarantee acceptance by a platform.
TMO Car Rentals serves eligible renters throughout South Florida, including Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. Service areas, vehicle availability, and pickup or delivery arrangements may vary.

The TMO Car Rentals Drive & Earn Program provides rental options for eligible independent drivers. However, TMO Car Rentals cannot guarantee that a particular platform will accept or activate you or the selected vehicle.
Do not begin delivery, courier, or rideshare activity until you and the vehicle have satisfied all applicable platform requirements.
